As the eldest child begins to grow up, does she have to leave the magic behind? Alison Lester AM's classic book comes to life on stage in a wonderful world of text, song, light, shadow and movement for children aged 3-8 and their adults. From the team behind The Gruffalo and The 13-, 26-, 52-, 78- and 91-Storey Treehouses, this new Australian adaptation from multi-award winning playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer is a celebration of the power of the imagination and the differences that make every child special.

Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre, the first Black woman to be promoted to the position in the company’s 75-year history. In 2022, Misty launched The Misty Copeland Foundation, with its signature program BE BOLD. In conversation with screenwriter, author, producer Susan Fales-Hill, who is currently a producer on And Just Like That. Misty wrote her latest memoir The Wind at My Back with Ms. Fales-Hill. Featuring performances by members of the prestigious ABT Studio Company, media from Misty’s legendary and trailblazing career, and some surprises.

The return of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis. The group performs a vast repertoire of music, from historic and rare compositions to new music from the group’s unrivalled collection of world-renowned composers and arrangers.

Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis

Branching Out is an original immersive theater production with music and dance.
It is designed for audiences on the autism spectrum and those who may have
limited movement, sensory and/or complex communication needs. Branching Out
encourages audiences to embrace adventure and celebrate change, while exploring
sensory experiences and the wonder of the four seasons. Audiences will participate
in a variety of sensory experiences-such as feeling the cold of winter, smelling the
flowers of spring, catching fireflies in the summer and more! Participation is optional
and customized for each participant. Audience size is limited to 20 participants. Tickets are reserved through a Google form that gets sent to the Arts Education Department.

Jason Scheff, longtime lead singer of the band CHICAGO, and Tommy DeCarlo, former lead singer of the band BOSTON, team up for a night of unforgettable classic rock music spanning the 70's, 80's and 90's. This musical tribute features two great sets of classic hits with the timeless ballads of CHICAGO and the guitar-driven rock music of BOSTON. Over 15 million fans have attended a live CHICAGO or a live BOSTON concert over a thirty-two-year span featuring either Jason or Tommy's signature high-tenor lead vocals. 

 

Jason Scheff joined CHICAGO in 1985 as lead singer/songwriter/bass player and went on to perform thousands of live concerts spanning four decades during a non-stop touring and recording career with the band. Jason contributed vocals, bass, keyboards, and songwriting, spanning 18 CHICAGO albums and 98 songs, including lead vocals on the 1986 #3 Billboard Hot 100 chart hit single "Will You Still Love Me?".

 

Tommy DeCarlo joined BOSTON in 2008 after the passing of Brad Delp in 2007, and has been the lead singer on every BOSTON tour thereafter, including 2008, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and the latest in 2017. In 2013, Tommy sang four songs on BOSTON's sixth and latest studio album, Life, Love & Hope, including the title track.

Led by dance icons Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, celebrating its 30th Anniversary, has awakened audiences to a new, exciting genre with their singular approach of reinventing dance and contemporary ballet. Armed with a rich Alvin Ailey lineage and a cadre of 16 stunning dancers, Complexions has been hailed as a “matchless American dance company” by the Philadelphia Inquirer and “game changing” by London’s The Guardian.

The Joni Project formed as a tribute in sound and spirit to Joni Mitchell, one of music’s greatest and most innovative artists. The band is fronted by Long Island's remarkable multi-instrumentalist and singer Katie Pearlman, who impressively plays Joni's songs in their original open guitar tunings; and includes jazz and jam band mainstays Dave Berg (guitar), Dan Ehrlich (bass), Alan Lerner (drums), Mark Mancini (keyboards), Steve Finklestein (percussion), Premik Russell Tubbs (saxophone and flute), and Victoria Faiella (backing vocals).
