Follow the enchanting story of Princess Aurora, who is cursed by a wicked fairy and falls into a deep sleep, only to be awakened by true love’s kiss. This whimsical performance features talented student dancers joined by professional soloists, bringing the timeless fairytale to life with Naples Ballet Artistic Director Christophe Maraval’s creative choreography and Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score. Sleeping Beauty

The music of one of the greatest artistic collaborations in American history comes to Daniels Pavilion when the Naples Philharmonic Jazz Orchestra honors Duke Ellington and composer/arranger Billy Strayhorn’s partnership of nearly 30 years. During this period, often considered Ellington’s most adventurous, Strayhorn is believed to have written around 40% of Ellington’s repertoire — including Take the A Train, Satin Doll, Lush Life, Something to Live For and many more. In this program, the jazz orchestra combines the energy of Ellington with the sophistication of Strayhorn to bring some of the duo’s most beloved big band compositions to life.

The Naples Philharmonic and Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra join forces under the baton of Associate Conductor Manuel López-Gómez to present one of the most spectacular performances of the season. Featuring this year's prizewinner from the 2024-25 Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition, performing the piece that earned their prize, the program culminates with an incredible side-by-side performance by the nearly 100-musician combined ensemble — a true testament to the talent of the students of the youth orchestra and a thrilling experience for the musicians onstage and audience alike.
