Inselmusik 2025: A Harmonious Retreat on Rügen Island

Inselmusik 2025 brings together experienced and young chamber musicians who will immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the island of Rügen for three days of music-making. Eckart Runge, former cellist of the legendary Artemis Quartet, and his duo partner Jacques Ammon will lead the festival and also present their own transcendent programs. The young musicians will have the opportunity to showcase their work in portrait concerts.

For the grand finale of the Inselmusik festival, Eckart Runge and Jacques Ammon bring their latest "Concert Visuel" and transport the audience to France! With music from Ravel to Aznavor , they celebrate the "Esprit Français," ably supported by the mimes Bodecker & Neander. Their fellow Inselmusik members, the two young quartets, will also be joining them on the journey.

Its latest Wigmore Hall recital pairs Haydn’s sonorous Op. 74 No. 1 with the youthful vigour and heart-on-sleeve lyricism of Nielsen’s First String Quartet.
