For the third year in a row, the American Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to kick off our season in the lush surroundings of Bryant Park. "Beyond the Hall" invites audiences to explore music beyond the traditional concert hall setting, featuring an eclectic mix of compositions. From Florence Price's vibrant "Suite of Dances" to the theatrical melodies of Weill's "Threepenny Opera," from Scott Joplin's operatic "Treemonisha" to Bernstein's lively "On the Town," and the haunting strains of Herrmann's "Psycho," this program promises to captivate with its exploration of music's dramatic and diverse roles across various venues and genres.

Bryant Park enhances the experience by offering hundreds of free picnic blankets, comfortable bistro chairs, and a curated selection of food and drink available for purchase from local vendors. With no tickets required and no lines for entry, attendees are welcomed to a hassle-free and immersive musical evening.
