Many thousands of Danish children and parents have learned about classical music thanks to the multi-artist Sigurd Barrett, who with his warmth and commitment has invited several generations into the world of music in his own special way.

Since 1938, the DR Girls' Choir has invited Danes into the music and songs of Christmas every year, and in recent years the choir has developed and expanded the Christmas concerts to become a very special and visual concert experience that invites several generations into the living music and memories of Christmas.

At the Christmas concerts, Christmas music and traditions are curiously explored and unfolded in a modern, staged musical story that puts Christmas traditions and symbols in a contemporary light.
