The Scandia String Orchestra will perform works by Danish composer Carl Nielsen and Swedish Baroque composer Johan Helmich Roman, as well as commissioned works by Danish composers Nikolaj Hess and Josefine Opsahl, and our own Resident Composer Frank Foerster.

This year Scandia will debut at Good Shephard-Faith Presbyterian Church, a New York landmark adjacent to the Lincoln Center campus, where the String Orchestra program from the summer festival will be performed.
