ABT Studio Company

The ABT Studio Company serves as the junior company of American Ballet Theatre (ABT) and provides promising young dancers with advanced training and performing opportunities. Functioning as a bridging gap, the Studio Company prepares members between the ages of 17 and 21 for potential careers with ABT or other prestigious ballet companies around the world. Established to provide a pre-professional training ground, ABT Studio Company often performs a mix of classical and contemporary repertory. It tours both nationally and internationally, showcasing the prodigious talents of its dancers in various venues. Alumni of the Studio Company include many who have progressed to prominent positions within ABT itself as well as other leading dance companies globally.
