The award-winning vocal ensemble Art'n'Voices from Gdansk celebrates its debut at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and presents an extraordinary programme full of emotional depth and musical sophistication. Traditional Christmas carols such as »Leise rieselt der Schnee« and »Carol of the Bells« will be performed in a new guise, complemented by specially composed works by Polish avant-garde composers such as Marek Raczyński and Anna Rocławska-Musiałczyk, the ensemble's director. The music captures the atmosphere of dark winter nights, the sound of the sea and the magic of Christmas. Works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt and Sting round off the programme.
