The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook, Michael Feinstein, returns with an evening of timeless music. The multi-Platinum-selling, five-time Grammy and two-time Emmy award nominee is Artistic Director for Allied Solutions Center and Founder of the affiliated Great American Songbook Foundation. His most recent album is Gershwin Country, which reimagines the classic songs of George and Ira Gershwin through duets with some of the biggest names in country music. Feinstein also serves as Principal Pops Conductor for the Pasadena Symphony and has two signature nightclubs, Feinstein’s at the Nikko in San Francisco and Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel.

Grammy-winning mandolinist, singer, songwriter, composer and MacArthur “Genius Grant” Fellow, Chris Thile is a multifaceted talent, hailed by NPR as a "genre-defying musical genius." Thile is a founding member of the influential string bands Punch Brothers and Nickel Creek and has collaborated with countless luminaries from Yo-Yo Ma to Fiona Apple to Brad Mehldau. For four years, Thile hosted public radio favorite Live from Here with Chris Thile (formerly known as A Prairie Home Companion). This solo performance will feature contemporary tunes as well as classical selections from his upcoming album.

The Operators formed in 2018 from members of Indianapolis ska/punk bands the Circle City Deacons, Harley Poe, Lockstep and Indien, later joined by lead vocalist Brittany Brumfield.
The group delivers a mix of neo-traditional ska sounds with the energy of punk, marked by shifting tempos and rhythms and bright and tight horn arrangements. Recordings have included Leave the Light On (2021) and Self-Titled Second Album (2024) on Chicago's JumpUp Records.

Saxophonist Branford Marsalis is a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master, Grammy Award winner, Tony Award nominee, and one of the most influential figures in contemporary music. For more than three decades, the core of his musical universe has been the Branford Marsalis Quartet, an ensemble celebrated for its uncompromising interpretation of both original compositions and jazz and popular classics. Following up on the Grammy‐nominated albums Upward Spiral and The Secret Between the Shadow, the group’s new debut release on Blue Note Records is Belonging, a complete interpretation of Keith Jarrett’s 1974 album of the same name.

Inspired by the “Million Dollar Quartet” incident of 1956, this rock ’n’ roll royalty jam session of true American music features hits like “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Whole lotta Shaking Going On,” “Shake, Rattle and Roll,” “Don’t Be Cruel,” “Hound Dog” and many more.

One Night in Memphis: The Number One Tribute to Presley, Perkins, Lewis and Cash

The Evolution Tour is an electrifying production that fuses groundbreaking step choreography with the vibrant soundscape of a live DJ. Founded in 1994, Step Afrika! blends traditional African dances, percussive dance styles practiced by historically Black fraternities and sororities, and an array of contemporary dance and art forms into a cohesive, compelling artistic experience. Performances integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. An official Cultural Ambassador of Washington, D.C., Step Afrika! has toured more than 60 countries, headlined President Barack Obama’s Black History Month Reception, and performed at the first ever Juneteenth Celebration at the White House.

Fresh from an acclaimed starring role in the Broadway revival of Ragtime, Joshua Henry makes his headlining debut at Allied Solutions Center. Get Up Stand Up is described as “a soulful bop through the songs that have moved and grooved us through the decades,” featuring ”Feeling Good,” “Wait for It,” “A Change is Gonna Come,” “If I Loved You,” “What’s Goin’ On” and more. Henry is best known for his Tony-nominated leading roles in Carousel, The Scottsboro Boys and Violet on Broadway, as well as his portrayal of Aaron Burr in the Chicago production and First National Tour of Hamilton. Named Live Ireland’s Traditional Group of the Year and Chicago Irish American News’ Group of the Year, Goitse have become leaders of the new generation of traditional Irish ensembles. The group has released six critically acclaimed recordings, mixing original compositions with age-old traditional tunes. Its lineup consists of Colm Phelan, bodhrán; Áine McGeeney, fiddle, vocals; Conal O’Kane, guitar; Alan Reid, banjo, bouzouki; and Daniel Collins, piano, accordion. Together, the quintet Goitse – the Gaelic word for “come here,” pronounced GO-witcha – makes what Irish Music Magazine calls “Music that’s brimming with energy and creative zeal.”

Orpheus Chamber Orchestra is a radical experiment in musical democracy, proving for over 50 years what happens when exceptional artists gather with total trust in each other and faith in the creative process. Its catalog of recordings for Deutsche Grammophon, Nonesuch and other labels includes more than 70 albums that still stand as benchmarks of the chamber orchestra repertoire, including Haydn symphonies, Mozart concertos, and 20th-century gems by Stravinsky, Schoenberg, Ravel and Bartók. This performance features Canadian piano virtuoso and composer Marc-André Hamelin in a program of Wiancko, Mozart and Schubert/Breuer.

Great American Crooners: A Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents Production

Honoring the past, celebrating the present, and creating the future of mariachi music, Mariachi Herencia de México delivers an electrifying and unforgettable night of Mexican music and culture. Based in Chicago, the two-time Latin Grammy-nominated band (Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album) has issued five chart-topping albums and performed across North America, paving the way for a new generation of mariachi musicians. The ensemble is composed of 14 musicians, ages 18-32, representing a new bicultural generation in the United States.

Founded in 1946, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is recognized as the U.K.’s most in-demand orchestra, with a busy schedule of national and international performances. The RPO also enjoys an annual season of concerts in London’s Royal Albert Hall, where it is Associate Orchestra; the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall; and Cadogan Hall, where it recently celebrated its 20th season as Resident Orchestra. Vasily Petrenko was named Music Director in 2021. This program of Nielsen, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius, conducted by Petrenko, will feature violin star Ray Chen, who delighted the local audience with his April 2024 performance.

Formed in 2021, Teresa Reynolds and the Slicktones have performed around Indianapolis and in New York City, where lead singer and songwriter Teresa Reynolds was based for more than 14 years while touring as a backup singer for Gloria Gaynor, singing for Central Park audiences with “That Guitar Man” David Ippolito, and writing and releasing two solo albums. The Slicktones are Indianapolis heavy hitters Mina Keohane, Poncho Hedrick, Matthew Dupree and Joshua Ginder.

In the 28th anniversary edition of the world’s longest-running jazz-based Christmas tour, saxophonist Dave Koz and his musical friends will perform fresh renditions of timeless Christmas classics – as well as a Chanukah medley – along with hits from their respective catalogs. In a recording career that spans nearly three decades, Koz has racked up honors and achievements including nine Grammy nominations, 11 No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, and a 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.

Celebrate the season as the Preservation Hall Jazz Band takes the stage with Creole Christmas, a performance featuring New Orleans classics as well as beloved holiday selections with a twist. Founded in 1963, the band takes its name from Preservation Hall, the humble but historic French Quarter music venue dedicated to keeping the past and future of jazz alive. Its recent releases redefine modern New Orleans music by tapping into sonic elements that stretch back to the city’s Afro-Cuban roots and reach forward to contemporary artists like Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello and Arcade Fire.

Returning for the third-straight season, Hoosier-born singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin will perform original Christmas tunes as well as holiday classics alongside some of his talented friends. The Anderson native has been attracting fans with his heartfelt, hook-laden songwriting and impassioned delivery since his 2007 debut album, Indiana. He has released several full-lengths in the years since and revealed a true evolution in both his piano playing and singing.

An Intimate Evening with David Foster & Katharine McPhee

Founded in 1979, Les Arts Florissants is an ensemble of singers and instrumentalists specialized in the performance of Baroque music on period instruments. On its first coast-to-coast U.S. tour since 2001, the ensemble is joined by fast-rising violinist Théotime Langlois de Swarte for Vivaldi’s Four Seasons at 300, commemorating the original 1725 publication of one of the most popular works in Western music. The program frames these iconic masterpieces afresh, setting them alongside music of Monteverdi, Uccellini and Geminiani, composers who influenced Vivaldi's approach, as well as compositions inspired by his bold vision.

One of the world’s longest-running Pink Floyd tribute acts, Cleveland-based Wish You Were Here is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a program of Floyd classics that includes highlights of Dark Side of the Moon, Animals and The Wall as well as a full rendition of the 1975 album Wish You Were Here, marking its 50th anniversary. The 10-piece band performs totally live, with no prerecorded music or vocal tracks, in a multimedia stage production that includes lasers, vintage video and other effects.

Called “the Pavarotti of soul singers” by The New York Times, Grammy-winning vocalist Peabo Bryson is known for his rich, soulful voice and romantic ballads. Over five decades and 20 albums, his hits have included “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again,” “Tonight I Celebrate My Love” and the Oscar-winning Disney classics “A Whole New World” with Regina Belle and “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion. Bryson also has collaborated with such artists as Roberta Flack, Natalie Cole and Kenny G.

As an interpreter of standards, Samara Joy has drawn comparisons to jazz heroines like Vaughan, Betty Carter, Abbey Lincoln and Carmen McRae. Her 2022 Verve debut Linger Awhile earned her Grammy Awards for Best New Artist as well as Best Jazz Vocal Album, and her EP A Joyful Holiday claimed 2025 Grammys for Best Jazz Vocal Album and Best Jazz Performance. Her latest release, Portrait, which earned the 2025 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album, melds her thoughtful lyrics with music by Charles Mingus, Sun Ra and her late mentor Barry Harris.

Trumpeter and composer Brandon Woody was just 17 in 2015 when the Baltimore Sun touted him as an artist on the rise. Since then, Woody has gone on to become an international artist, curating projects for major museums, collaborating with international brands, and performing with his band, Upendo, a multi-generational and expandable group that features a core quartet of pianist Troy Long, bassist Michael Saunders and drummer Quincy Phillips. Woody also has performed alongside artists including Robert Glasper, Solange, Jon Faddis and Danilo Perez. His new debut album is For the Love of It All on Blue Note Records.

In a career spanning three decades, Canadian guitarist-composer Jesse Cook’s honors have included Acoustic Guitar Magazine’s coveted Player’s Choice Silver Award and 11 Juno Award nominations with one win. Introduced to flamenco music as a child, he went on to study at Canada’s Royal Conservatory, Toronto’s York University and Berklee College in Boston. His compositional style –  mixing flamenco with everything from classical and jazz to Zydeco, blues and Brazilian samba – has spawned an international following, with his songs used as soundtracks for newscasts and Olympics routines. He has released over a dozen albums and five PBS television specials.

Squirrel Nut Zippers will take fans on a magical, musical voyage to the birthplace of jazz as they present Jazz from the Back O’ Town, a show exploring the New Orleans Back O’ Town jazz scene of the late 19th century through the Roaring Twenties. Performing in era-appropriate attire, the Zippers provide a delightful view into this mystical era with reverent but exciting renditions of such seminal classics as Jelly Roll Morton’s “Animule Ball” and Louis Armstrong’s “Back O’ Town Blues,” as well as favorites from their own catalog, adapted and arranged to more closely echo the sounds of 1920s New Orleans.

Continuing a tradition of annual free concerts by military bands, Allied Solutions Center is proud to welcome the U.S. Navy’s premier jazz ensemble, the Commodores. Formed in 1969, this 18-member group continues the jazz big band legacy with some of the finest musicians in the world. The Commodores’ mission includes public concerts, national concert tours, ceremonial support in honoring our veterans, jazz education classes and clinics, and protocol performances for high-level military and civilian government officials. Their concerts are an eclectic mix of traditional big band music, exciting jazz vocal arrangements and fresh new instrumental music.

The Vienna Boys Choir is one of the oldest and most famous choirs in the world. Boys have been singing at Vienna's Imperial Chapel since at least 1296. In 1498, Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I established a Court Chapel in Vienna where he declared that boys would be among the singers, thus laying the foundation for the Vienna Boys Choir. Today, the former imperial ensemble is a private, nonprofit organization with a primary and grammar school for 330 boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 19, with a focus on choral music and singing. The four boys’ choirs perform almost 300 concerts per year.

Tommy Emmanuel is regularly cited among the world’s top acoustic guitarists, one of only five musicians to earn Chet Atkins’ honorary “Certified Guitar Player” title. Often performing solo, Emmanuel mixes folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass and other genres, using a fingerstyle technique to play multiple parts simultaneously and sometimes using the guitar as a percussion instrument. The Australian-born Grammy winner also has collaborated with artists including David Grisman, Jerry Douglas, Billy Strings, Jason Isbell, Michael McDonald and Mark Knopfler. His latest album is Live at the Sydney Opera House.

Singer-songwriter Roger McGuinn began his career at 17 and was active on the national music scene before co-founding the Byrds, who blended folk harmonies, Dylan-inspired lyrics and the Beatles’ electric sound to become one of the most influential rock bands of all time. Led by McGuinn’s 12-string Rickenbacker guitar, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers topped the charts with hits like “Mr. Tambourine Man,” helped launch the psychedelic era with “Eight Miles High,” and presaged the country-rock wave with their album Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Throughout his long solo career, he has championed the preservation of traditional folk music. Don’t miss this special solo performance!

Toronto-based electro-jazz duo Four80East combines electronic and live elements in its groove-centric music. Rob DeBoer and Tony Grace, the masterminds behind hits like "Noodle Soup," Eastside" and "Cinco Cinco Seis," have captivated audiences worldwide with their innovative and soulful musical compositions.

The Wallow Hollows was founded in 2015 by songwriters Jonathan Hunter (lead vocals) and Dakota Girton (guitar), joined in 2020 by Jordan Willocks (drums), Ryan Webster (bass) and Dakota Huckaby (electric guitar). They have played more than 250 shows across multiple states at venues including the Bluebird Café and the Stillery in Nashville, Tennessee, as well as Hi-Fi, 8 Seconds Saloon and the Rathskeller in Indianapolis. Their 2023 debut album, Carry On, has been followed by several singles, with more releases slated for 2025.

Bell has performed with virtually every major orchestra, and maintains engagements as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor and as the Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Bell has earned six Grammy Award nominations, was named “Instrumentalist of the Year” by Musical America, deemed a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum, received the Avery Fisher Prize, and was named an "Indiana Living Legend" in 2000. He performs on the 1713 Huberman Stradivarius violin.

With brilliant arrangements, flawless musicianship and superlative vocals, the 12-piece band Evil Woman – “The American ELO” – is widely recognized as the world’s premier tribute to the Electric Light Orchestra. Picking up where the Beatles left off in 1970, the UK-based ELO expanded the concept of great melodies, epic song structures and grand orchestrations in which cellos coexisted with guitars, and classically tinged progressive rock intersected with hook-filled, radio-friendly pop songs. ELO was one of the biggest groups of the 1970s, with hits including “Telephone Line,” “Mr. Blue Sky,” “Xanadu,” “Evil Woman,” “Livin’ Thing” and “Don’t Bring Me Down.”

Since gaining prominence in the early 2000s, ukulele marvel Jake Shimabukuro has mesmerized audiences with his innovative and dynamic style, taking the instrument to dizzying new heights. Over a dozen solo albums, Shimabukuro has shown a knack for moving effortlessly between genres, sometimes in the same song. He has played the world’s top venues, from Lincoln Center to the Sydney Opera House, and has worked with artists including Yo-Yo Ma, Bela Fleck, Bette Midler, Ziggy Marley, Sonny Landreth, Billy Strings, Lukas & Willie Nelson and Warren Haynes. Recent projects include the 2024 album Blues Experience, a collaboration with legendary drummer Mick Fleetwood.

Northside Exchange was founded in 2022 in Indianapolis by guitarist/vocalist/producer Joseph Filipow and drummer/producer Darnell Perkins, with rising star Daniel Hicks on keyboards. The band has opened for jazz legend Branford Marsalis, performed at Carmel Jazz Fest, and backed esteemed Indianapolis vocalists Goldie, Marielle Sellars, Blair Clark and other notable artists. The group’s 2023 debut single “Steppin’” is available on all major streaming platforms.
