Anton Bruckner University is an open, innovative house of the arts, where tomorrow's artists and educators in the fields of music, drama and dance receive an individual education. We look back on more than 200 years of history as an artistic educational institution and have been accredited as a private university owned by the province of Upper Austria since 2004. We see ourselves as an open university in an open society, as a place for experimentation, as a place to ask questions and try things out; as a place where art in all its facets is created and lived – dynamically, diversely, innovatively and curiously.
