The Icicle Works

The Icicle Works is not an artistic organization or venue, but rather a rock band that originated in Liverpool, England, in the early 1980s. Led by singer and guitarist Ian McNabb, the band was part of the post-punk and new wave movements that emerged during that time. They are best known for their hit single "Birds Fly (Whisper to a Scream)," which gained popularity in both the UK and the US. The Icicle Works released several albums during the 1980s and early 1990s and became an influential part of the alternative rock scene. While they may perform at various venues, The Icicle Works themselves are not recognized as a venue or artistic organization.
