Det Ny Teater

Det Ny Teater has produced major musicals on an international level with artistic and audience success. Det Ny Teater is Denmark's only privately run theatre, and the country's most visited theatre. Det Ny Teater receives a rent and ticketing subsidy through the Finance Act. Det Ny Teater was built in 1908. With its 12,000 m2 and more than 1,000 seats, the theatre is one of the largest theatres in the country. Today, the theatre building stands as one of Europe's most beautiful and accomplished classical theatre buildings.
