“Musical & Stories” is a theater concert where the audience can look forward to an exciting, emotional, festive and cozy evening in the company of two old friends.Annette HeickandJesper Lundgaard. Throughout their long careers, they have played in a sea of ​​musicals. We will hear fragments from them, all the while the two talk about the ups and downs of life, experiences from their careers. It is performed with lots of sparkle in the eye and with the use of a few props. The story is spiced up with a wealth of big hits from the world of musicals and on stage is the performance's musical trio. There will be opportunities for goosebumps, lots of laughter and beautiful recognizable tones.

Trombonist Lis Wessberg and vocalist Veronika Rud join forces in a unique musical encounter where the melancholic beauty of jazz meets Nordic lyricism and improvisation. 

With Wessberg's cinematic and atmospheric universe as a starting point, the two artists create a concert experience that balances the intimate and the expressive, the fragile and the powerful.
 

Lis Wessberg has established herself as one of Denmark's most distinctive jazz musicians with her band Yellow Map, which has garnered excellent reviews for its two albums Yellow Map (2021) and Twain Walking (2024). Her trombone playing is both warm and expressive, and her compositions draw on both jazz giants like Miles Davis and modern soundscapes à la Radiohead and Talk Talk.

With  Melodies for Two  , Nanna takes a big step as a composer and artist. The year 2025 will feature an intense tour, where Nanna and her musicians in the Nanna Carling Swingband will give concerts around her homeland Sweden, Denmark and the rest of Europe.

The world-famous Danish jazz bassist and composer Chris Minh Doky is coming to Taastrup Teater & Musikhus.
Since he started playing the piano at the age of 6, music has been a crucial part of Chris Minh Doky's life. He later switched to bass and moved to New York at a young age, where he trained and worked with world-renowned musicians such as Mike Stern, John Scofield, Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Sanborn.

A spaghetti western like our mother made it

In a dusty corner of the Wild West lies a small gold mining town, where everyone dreams of gold, and even more hope for a party, free drinks and singing and music in the saloon. At the heart of the town stands the nervous and slightly reluctant sheriff, "Hiccup" Hank, who dreams most of all of a quiet time with his feet up and a good cup of coffee. But that's easier said than done, because the town is filled to the brim with crooks, bandits and rascals, all after a precious deed to a gold mine field.

We unfortunately lost our beloved clarinetist and friend Elith 'Nulle' Nykjær at the end of 2023.
 
In Nulle's spirit, we will continue to play our common music with deep roots in tradition and at the same time a great degree of freedom, openness and innovation, as we have done on our five albums together.
 
We create unique and modern versions of Danish and American classics by such diverse Danish composers as, among others,  Sidney Bechet,  John Mogensen, Hans Henrik Ley, Aske Bentzon, Kenneth Knudsen, Fats Waller, Bessie Smith and Sven Gyldmark.

The Rhythm Bandits have developed music and movement games for the stories about Alfons Åberg. We read parts of the stories aloud and invite the children and their adults to play along.  

With body and rhythms we move together into Åberg's recognizable universe. Listen to the wonderful stories about Alfons and play along as we use our strong powers, fly high like a helicopter and scare each other like dangerous ghosts. It's a game for the whole family.

The Rhythm Bandits believe that good play is the most important thing in children's everyday lives. It is through play that children learn about the world and themselves. The Rhythm Bandits therefore work to create a focus on good play based on the children, where there is a focus on both the impulsive and the controlled.

In the one man / two band comedy show, Mikkel is to perform at a company party, and is invited to team building before the evening's party. The company's employees are to get to know each other better, it will be the event of the year - expectations are sky high. But during the evening, one thing (apart from the fact that it was probably not such a good idea with an open bar) becomes very clear: Everyone has a dark side, and everyone keeps a secret that no one else knows about...! Mikkel ends up in one unexpected and awkward situation after another, when the employees one by one slowly open the bag with their deepest and juiciest secrets.

... are names we usually associate with Danish pop successes such as Halberg Larsen, News, Ray-Dee-Ohh, Lis Sørensen, Rasmus Seebach, the X-Factor band...

However, the three experienced and creative musicians have a trio where they pay tribute to some of their own sources of inspiration from one of rock's most creative and turbulent periods - the late 60s. In those years, the inspiration and the groundwork were created for much of the rock and pop we listen to today. With names like Jimi Hendrix, Cream, The Doors, The Beatles, Blind Faith, etc., many of the best songs from that period stand as milestones in rock history to this day. Just think of tracks like "Voodoo Child", "Sunshine of You Love", "Crossroads" and "Little Wing".

Jonas H. Petersen, one of Denmark's best singers and songwriters, is back with new songs and gives a Christmas concert in an intimate duo format.

You can expect touching songs of high caliber and a very special presence when Jonas H. Petersen, alias Hymns from Nineveh, together with his producer, multi-instrumentalist Sebastian Autzen, lights a light in the winter darkness with his hymn-pop songs about faith and existence. 

In the fall of 2024, Hymns from Nineveh's seventh album, Parabler, was released, which Gaffa gave 5 stars with the words "Some of the best soul care heard on the Danish music scene in a long time." These are songs that Jonas wrote during a prolonged depression - songs that he himself needed to hear, and which therefore shine with faith, hope and love.

Hey, what's the point of cheating a little when no one notices - doesn't everyone?

THE SANJAY SHAH SHIT SHOWdepicts a tragicomic story about our trust in SKAT, and about the 12.7 billion DKK that we, the Danish taxpayers, have been defrauded of by the British-Indian businessman Sanjay Shah. The current dividend scandal case is pushed forward with rhythm and music by the virtuoso drummer and composerEmil de Waal, while the award-winning actorIna-Miriam Rosenbaumplays all the roles on stage. In a mix of music, satire, stand-up, drama and documentary, she is the employees of SKAT, the foreign shareholders, the Danish politicians and civil servants and not least Sanjay Shah.

It started as a wild idea - but in 2026 it will become a reality. WhenPoul Krebsturns 70, he is not only marking it with a new album and a lifetime of back catalogue. He is also embarking on one of the most ambitious tours of his career: 70 concerts across Denmark. On Saturday, April 25, 2026, Poul Krebs and the band will come to Taastrup Teater & Musikhus.

"2026 will be the year when we reach the entire big little country. From the largest concert halls to the smallest community centers out there and also around the big festivals that I was sure I had played for the last time. But fortunately I was wrong," he says.
