In Johnny's absence, his son Rasmus received the award, and on the same occasion played a few of the greatest hits together with, among others, guitarist Knud Møller, who has been Madsen's faithful companion for three decades.

In 2024, the Christmas Concert of the Year celebrated its 30th anniversary with 26 sold-out concerts across the country, and the wonderful Christmas tradition for the whole family will continue in 2025. The anniversary was marked by the release of Stig Rossen's fifth Christmas album, Julefred, which has already helped create coziness and a Christmas atmosphere in many homes. Once again, the audience can look forward to hearing some of the Christmas songs that have become a regular part of the Christmas Concert of the Year, as well as brand new songs written especially for the Christmas tour.
