Teater V

Teater V was founded in the fall of 2005 by actor, playwright and director Pelle Koppel, and presented its first performance in the district in the spring of 2006, with a vision of establishing a continuously producing professional theatre in Valby. This was achieved in 2009 when the theatre was approved as a Small City Theatre by the Municipality of Copenhagen. The grant was renewed in 2013, and again in the spring of 2016, thus ensuring that professional theatre is produced and presented in Valby (for the time being) until 2023.
