China Teatern

China Teatern is Stockholm's second largest private theater with 1,226 seats in the auditorium. On October 20, 1928, the China Theatre was inaugurated with the Swedish premiere of the Greta Garbo silent film Anna Karenina. It was accompanied live by a 17-piece orchestra. Since then, the large elephants have danced here and given the audience joy, music, a wow feeling and moved tears.
