2025 is the year that KANDIS’s Grand Prix hit “Lonnie Fra Berlin” turns 20. It has been 20 years since KANDIS participated in the Danish National Song Contest – the song has now achieved cult status and has become part of all Danes’ musical DNA and is always a regular part of KANDIS’s repertoire when they give concerts. The song has also been streamed 6 million times on SPOTIFY. 2025 will be season no. 36, where KANDIS will once again go on a nationwide tour with already well over 100 events and concerts on the calendar. KANDIS has become a permanent entertainment institution and at the same time all Danes’ favorite orchestra when it comes to entertainment and concert names at large concert events all over Denmark. KANDIS is also heading to a new place in their career, in addition to the many traditional concerts they have year after year. It started at SMUKFEST in 2023, where they completely dismantled the tent stage, which has now become a regular feature at many Danish festivals across the country.
