Lincoln Center Theater (LCT) is a prominent American theater organization located in New York City, known for its dedication to producing a diverse range of plays and musicals. In June 2012, LCT expanded its facilities with a new 2-story addition on the roof of the Vivian Beaumont Theater, which includes the Claire Tow Theater, rehearsal rooms, office space, and a roof terrace. This expansion also serves as the permanent home for LCT3, an initiative devoted to producing the work of new playwrights, directors, and designers, with a focus on attracting a new generation of artists and audiences through fully staged productions and affordable tickets.
