WVU School of Theatre and Dance

The School of Theatre & Dance is part of WVU’s College of Creative Arts and shares the Loulie, Valerie and William Canady Creative Arts Center with the School of Music, School of Art & Design, and the Reed School of Media and Communications. The School offers students the advantages of personal instruction of a smaller school with the resources of a major research university. With 180 students working in 4 theatres, 6 shops, 4 labs, producing 8 –10 shows per year, the School of Theatre and Dance is an exciting and vibrant place to study and practice the art and craft of theatre and dance. The program offers a one-to-one mentoring basis with a challenging and comprehensive curriculum.
