Riksteatern

The Riksteatern is Sweden's largest producing touring theatre. We are based on the principle that high-quality performing arts should reach everyone. In order for this to happen as efficiently as possible, we do not own our own stages. Instead, we use stages that already exist. That is why our different stages also look different from place to place and from performance to performance. From grand theatres, modern dance stages and Folkets Hus stages to community centres, gymnasiums and classrooms. By touring and arranging performing arts from north to south, we take seriously the National Theatre's vision of setting thoughts and emotions in motion for everyone everywhere on a daily basis.
