Orpheus Chamber Singers is the premier professional choir in North Texas, committed to performances and activities that perpetuate and elevate the art of choral music. Hailed by BBC Radio 3 as “one of America’s finest chamber choirs” and known for its technical precision with “impressive and subtle overlay of nuance and emotional empathy” (Onstage NTX), Orpheus Chamber Singers is a professional chamber choir that features artists from across North Texas. Orpheus was founded in 1995 by Donald Krehbiel as a medium to explore the wide range of choral repertoire from the past seven centuries.
