THE VILLALOBOS BROTHERS are acclaimed as one of today's leading Contemporary Mexican ensembles. The MSO will close out its Classics Series with Ludwig van Beethoven’s epic Symphony No. 9. This symphony has reached beyond concert halls across the globe and become part of popular culture, most notably with the “Ode to Joy” theme in the final movement. Featuring the MSO Chorus and four spectacular vocal soloists, this concert captures Beethoven’s vision of hope with power, and authenticity.

Founded in 1976, the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra (MSYO) serves over 100 young musicians and their families from more than 40 public and private schools in the Central Valley. Led by a deeply engaged leadership team, the youth orchestra attracts a diverse group of outstanding musicians. Members are presented with the opportunity to share their gift of music in an inspiring and challenging orchestral setting alongside their peers from all social, economic, cultural, and geographical backgrounds. As a program within the Modesto Symphony Orchestra Association, members also have the invaluable experience of interacting with our professional musicians, conductors, and visiting guest artists through workshops, side-by-side performances, and clinics.

Vulgar, egotistic junkman Harry Brock has come to a swanky hotel in Washington to make crooked deals with government big-wigs. Accompanying him is the charming but dumb ex-chorus girl Billie, whose lack of social graces embarrasses even Harry. Harry hires young, idealistic reporter Paul Verrall to educate Billie and make her more presentable. Romance ensues, as does Billie's realization that Harry is a crook who has made her a tool in his schemes to defraud the public.  As Billie prepares to leave Harry, she helps Paul get hold of incriminating documents of Harry's which will result in scandal and disaster. Written by Garson Kanin, this comedy-drama became a celebrated film starring Judy Holliday and William Holden.

Chris Perondi (aka the Stunt Dog Guy) and wife Suhey Perondi, along with their famous stunt dogs, are out of this world! The Perondis are master dog trainers and have been entertaining audiences of all sizes since 1999. They have produced over 10,000 live shows since the creation of Stunt Dog Experience using positive training methods. You will witness some of the most incredible stunts and behaviors ever performed by dogs--up to two dozen talented shelter pups! This experience offers amazing tricks, big air stunts, comedy antics, dancing dogs, athletic feats, and is one of the most entertaining shows of its kind.

Pride Anthems creates a vibrant musical experience that celebrates, inspires and commemorates the legacy and power of the Stonewall Riots, and takes you on a musical and cultural journey through the past 50 years to today. Donny Osmond - Direct From Vegas

In February, comedian Henry Cho was inducted as the 229th member of The Grand Ole Opry. This prestigious honor has not been extended to a comedian since 1973. The Gallo Center is delighted to congratulate Henry, and to welcome this clean, Christian-friendly comedian back to Modesto!

The popular comic has TV credits including appearances on NBC's The Tonight Show, CBS's The Late, Late, Show, and NBC's Young Comedians Special. He served two years as host of NBC's Friday Night Videos and had many guest roles on various network sitcoms. Henry was co-creator, co-producer and co-writer of The Henry Cho Show on the Great American Family network.
