Source/Filter Music Collective

Source/Filter Music was born out of a desire to create interesting, unique musical projects in Los Angeles that spotlight the works of local, living composers and showcase the incredible talents of local musicians and performing artists. Since then, Source/Filter has produced concerts featuring seldom-performed works by beloved composers such as Shostakovich as well as entirely new vocal works from Los Angeles-based composers, including Brooke DeRosa and Amy Gordon. Our productions have included singers, instrumentalists, and multi-media aspects such as film.
