The Brevard Symphony Orchestra (BSO) is set to delight audiences with a series of extraordinary performances this season. From the grand organ sounds in 'Organ Spectacular!' featuring Andrew Galuska, to the soul-stirring 'Ode to Joy' conducted by Dr. Robert Lamb, and the Broadway hits brought to life by Alli Mauzey and Jeff Kready in 'The Best of Broadway', each event promises a unique musical journey. These concerts, hosted at the King Center for the Performing Arts, showcase the incredible talent of the musicians and the timeless appeal of classical and popular music.

Brevard Symphony Orchestra's Spectacular Season: Celebrating Musical Masterpieces

The Brevard Community Chorus and other area singers join the BSO’s season finale for Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9, also known as Ode to Joy. Other works include Haydn’s jubilant Te Deum and Mason Bates’ techno-inspired Soundcheck in C Major.

King Center for the Performing Arts

Once referred to as the “King of Instruments” by Mozart himself, this concert features the organ. Organist Andrew Galuska is featured in Saint-Saens’ Symphony No. 3. We’ll also hear works by Handel and Albinoni, along with the World Premiere of Royal Coronation Overture by Patrick Brill.

Epic Tchaikovsky stars Tchaikovsky’s greatest and most profound work – Symphony No. 6 Pathetique – featured along with violinist Hina Khuong-Huu performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. The concert opens with the BSO and Brevard Symphony Youth Orchestra (BSYO) performing side-by-side with Grieg’s Symphonic Dance No. 1.

The unique trio of “Confetti” will take you on a journey spanning almost 1000 years, with stops in a German Abbey during the High Middle Ages, a champagne salon during La Belle Époque in Paris, and the wilds of modern-day Alaska.

Join your Brevard Symphony Orchestra this July 4th for our FREE annual Symphony Under the Stars concert at Cocoa Riverfront Park. Be sure to bring a chair or blanket as you enjoy a free concert filled with patriotic favorites. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. with fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m. Food trucks and local restaurants will be open and available before the concert.

Celebrating 100 Years of Gershwin Melodies

Be swept away in a musical fantasy with Mozart and Mother Goose. You’ll hear Mozart’s most famous melody in Eine kleine Nachtmusik. The BSO welcomes pianist Sasha Kasman Laude for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 – and we end on a high note with Ravel’s whimsical Mother Goose Suite.

Celebrate the joy and wonder of the holiday with the Space Coast Ballet as they celebrate their 20th Anniversary of bringing The Nutcracker to the King Center L3HARRIS Technologies Theatre, Main Stage! We are pleased to announce that this year Tchaikovsky's best-loved melodies will be performed again by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra! The artistry of sets and costumes from St. Petersburg, Russia are truly spectacular! This artistic masterpiece is directed by Joseph Gatti, a graduate of the Royal Ballet School in London. Formerly a Principal Dancer with the Cincinnati Ballet and Corella Ballet, and First Soloist with Boston Ballet, and features internationally acclaimed principal dancers along with talented dancers from our community. Enjoy the magic of Christmas as Clara takes us on an adventure to the land of snow and sweets, where flowers waltz and sugar plum fairies dance with delight. The Brevard Community Chorus joins the BSO for traditional carols and other holiday highlights – and we’ll enjoy a musical gift to the BSO – the World Premiere of Double Christmas by Gregory Smith, composed to celebrate the BSO’s 70th Anniversary Season!
