Empire City Men's Chorus

Empire City Men's Chorus stands at the forefront of a movement redefining what men's voices can accomplish in service of justice and community. Founded in 1993 in New York City, ECMC has evolved from its roots in the LGBTQIA+ community into a nationally recognized ensemble that uses artistic excellence as a tool for social transformation. Under Artistic Director Dr. Vince Peterson, ECMC has grown into an institution with a commercially released, Gramophone-reviewed recording, and partnerships with many composers. Our mission is clear: to embrace the marginalized, empower the disconnected, and elevate the human spirit through soul-stirring music that challenges traditional concepts of masculinity while celebrating the full spectrum of male and masculine identity.
