Immersion Evening - Autumn of the Senses

Aabendans

Ugo Dehaes' robots are very special dancers: he has grown them himself in his basement, and has raised and trained them to dance. Some of them crawl across the table like caterpillars, others stumble around the area like puppies, others still turn flexibly in every direction, and some repeat the same monotonous movement over and over. In this performance, Ugo leaves the stage to the unique physical capabilities of the machines and the choreographic abilities of artificial intelligence. In doing so, he has created a playful robot ballet that, in a humorous and painterly way, asks us how we would like to live side by side with robots. There will be a few texts in English, but the show can easily be experienced without understanding them.
