CLASSIX Kempten

International Chamber Music Festival "CLASSIX Kempten" was founded in 2006 , initially under the name "Fürstensaal Classix." The acclaimed inaugural edition fueled the desire to establish the project as a permanent fixture in the Allgäu region's cultural life – a valuable contribution to the region's cultural diversity. The "Friends of Classix Concerts e.V." was established, a small but motivated group that shouldered all the costs and labor for the following two years. The COVID-19 pandemic and the death of the festival's founder, Dr. Franz Tröger, in 2022 were overcome through a concerted effort, including securing professional support in management, dramaturgy, marketing, and public relations.
