The Central Oregon Chamber Orchestra, a small ensemble drawn from the musicians of the COS, will perform an assortment of works by Franz Joseph Haydn, Felix Mendelssohn, Max Bruch, and Ottorino Respighi. Our featured soloist will be mezzosoprano, Charlene Chi, whose powerful, yet sensitive singing is engaging and enrapturing.

This one-act comedy is a singspiel, meaning that spoken dialog (in English) is interspersed with musical numbers. The action surrounds the vanity of singers who argue over their skills, status and pay.
