ArtisNaples is a premier cultural institution in Southwest Florida, dedicated to the visual and performing arts. Founded in 1982 as the Naples/Marco Philharmonic, it evolved from a chamber ensemble to a full orchestra, performing its first full concert in 1983. The organization expanded its mission under the leadership of Myra Janco Daniels, who spearheaded the construction of a permanent home, the Philharmonic Center for the Arts, which opened in 1989. Rebranded as ArtisNaples in 2013, it encompasses the Naples Philharmonic, The Baker Museum, and a variety of educational programs. The Kimberly K. Querrey and Louis A. Simpson Cultural Campus includes two performance halls, The Baker Museum, and the Stabile Education building. ArtisNaples continues to inspire, educate, and entertain through a multidisciplinary approach, hosting world-class events and exhibitions. Key milestones include the expansion of The Baker Museum, the establishment of the Naples International Film Festival, and significant philanthropic contributions supporting its growth and mission.
