Pixies

The Pixies is an influential alternative rock band that originated in the United States. Formed in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1986, the band quickly became known for their unique sound that blends punk rock with distinct melodic and noise elements. The original lineup consisted of Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, vocals), and David Lovering (drums). Their music has been described as having a significant impact on the development of the rock and alternative scene, with notable albums such as 'Surfer Rosa' and 'Doolittle' gaining widespread acclaim.
