Aalesund Folk Festival

Aalesund Folk Festival is an annual meeting place for folk music in Sunnmøre, celebrating both local heritage and the diversity of folk music traditions. Through concerts, courses and social gatherings it presents young talents and experienced musicians from Norway and abroad, from traditional tunes and village dance to new creation and crossover with other genres, and works to recruit new performers.
