Norsjø kammermusikkfest

'Since I was young, there has been a remarkable flowering in Norwegian musical life. It can be felt across all musical genres, not least in classical music, of which Norsjø Kammermusikkfestival is a shining example. I have had the pleasure of taking part in this celebration of music, and amid the challenges created by the pandemic the enterprising organisers had created an exceptionally exciting festival. There were bold programmes with much topical new Norwegian music, and in addition they invested heavily in young talent. This takes courage and creativity, and already the festival is one of the most important in Norway.'
