Det Norske Blåseensemble

With roots reaching back to 1734, Det Norske Blåseensemble is one of Norway's oldest cultural institutions. The ensemble began as a military band but became civilian in 2003. Since then it has been an artistic powerhouse that dares to take chances. The wind ensemble is curious and always makes the music its own — whatever the genre. In the music, they create room for the unexpected and cultivate contrasts. This is their hallmark.
