An all-female choir accompanied by violin and piano will perform different composition titles, including Gysooye Dar Baad, Sahar Khizaan, Atash Savaar, Reishe Dar Khaak, and Navaye Azadi. The concert will be comprised of contemporary poems structured by classical/traditional songs in Persian/Farsi (translated to English) that speak to issues of women’s rights and democracy in Iran. Funds raised from the concert will be allocated to activities that support “Woman, Life, Freedom” Movement in Iran.
