Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin

Founded in autumn 1989 in the spirit of reunification, the orchestra has in more than thirty years become a fixture of Berlin's musical and cultural life. Today markedly rejuvenated, it reflects the atmosphere of the city: musicians from across Berlin and international colleagues form an ensemble that delights again and again with its curiosity and commitment, wins audiences over with its lively, authentic interplay and consistently convinces with excellent sound. Comprising around fifteen musicians, it has undergone a remarkable development over many years under the artistic direction of first concertmaster Gabriel Adorján.
