About Bravo Vail Bravo Vail is a renowned international music festival and public 501(c)(3) Colorado non-profit corporation that was established in 1987 by founding executive director John Giovando and founding artistic director Ida Kavafian. Originally conceived as a small chamber music series, the festival has since grown into a prominent event, attracting the world's greatest musicians and orchestras to its summer home in Eagle County.
