With its program "Christmas Swing," the ensemble presents a romantic Christmas revue. Famous American Christmas melodies ring out in authentic arrangements by David Hermlin, in the style of the golden big band era.

Christmas Swing

Gasteig HP8

An intense dialogue between two pianos takes center stage in this program. With the WDR Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Chief Conductor Marie Jacquot and the brothers Lucas and Arthur Jussen, Mendelssohn Bartholdy's Double Concerto creates an interplay that fuses virtuosity, nuanced tone colors and sheer joy in playing.
