Rohey Taalah and Martin Myhre Olsen have made a name for themselves in projects including Gurls, Hegge, Wako and Trondheim Jazzorkester in recent years. Their collaboration grew out of a desire to explore the close connection between voice and saxophone. Among other things, they will present songs by Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell and Laura Mvula, along with a selection of well-known jazz standards.

The Real Thing

A playful and energetic electroacoustic party performance.

Trygve Fiske Sextet

A newly written work by Aleksander Kostopoulos, presented in collaboration with Scene Nord. Combines beats and cinematic electronic music with Scene Nord's Finnmark-based string players and a light show.

Fango

We are delighted to welcome back the Swedish star trombonist Karin Hammar and her band. The band was formed in 2014 and has released four albums to date. European jazz, a Nordic style and occasionally a touch of classical music, with clearly defined forms offering room for free development and improvisation. A concert in collaboration with Arctic Pride.

Karin Hammar FAB4

A concert for the youngest listeners! Jazz på trazz features the local musicians Mikael Pedersen Jacobsen on percussion and Øystein Myrvoll on piano. They offer a cozy, fun and interactive session in which they play freely within the framework of jazz. This concert is made for children and families with young kids.

Jazz på trazz

Tromsø Jazz Club's longest-running tradition: for more than thirty years, Romjulsjazz has gathered the city's residents and many of our most accomplished musicians for an evening devoted to jazz on the third day of Christmas. A lineup of bands will take the stage, and perhaps we'll have a surprise in store as well.
