Andreas Hourdakis is a groundbreaking jazz guitarist from Malmö. Few Swedish guitarists move as freely between different musical worlds as he does. In recent years he has performed everywhere from well-known jazz venues and sweaty rock clubs to Sweden's largest arenas. On his latest album, Report To Keftiu (2024), he pays tribute to Crete, the island where his Greek family has its roots, through original compositions and a reinterpretation of a traditional Cretan folk melody. Drawing inspiration from the island's rich musical heritage, he pushes the boundaries of jazz with genre-blurring improvisations and an electrifying stage presence.

Franska Trion was formed in 2002. A cult-favorite band, it has slowly but surely built an ever-growing audience. Its music is a category of its own, hard to compare with anything else. A bigger breakthrough with the mass audience came when Franska Trion appeared as one of the house bands on SVT's quiz show "På spåret". Their live performances have an intensity and presence unlike anything else. The music moves from the violent and aggressive to the softest whispers, where you could hear a pin drop. The texts' personal character brings forward something entirely universal, and therefore they are also very moving.

The legendary drummer Billy Cobham broke through in the 1960s, first with Miles Davis and then as one of the founders of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, the group that forever changed the meeting of jazz and rock. As one of the true pioneers of jazz fusion, Cobham has constantly pushed the boundaries between jazz, rock and funk with explosive technique, total precision and indomitable creativity. With a career spanning six decades, more than thirty albums under his own name, and a rightful place in both the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame and the Classic Drummer Hall of Fame, Billy Cobham continues to inspire new generations of musicians around the world. Welcome to a unique concert!

With inventive vocal harmonies and a treasure trove of banjos, bottles, horns and squeezeboxes, the band creates an enchanting, adventurous sound at the meeting point of tragedy and comedy. Tom Waits' worn, poetic characters take on new dimensions from a fresh perspective. The band's name is taken from Woody Allen's film Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), which deals with the relationship between three women and one man — here, three women meet the music they love. There is also a strong sense of sisterhood; VKB seeks to highlight the influence of co-writer Kathleen Brennan, Tom Waits' wife, in its interpretations.

The Serbian quartet Eyot has an eclectic and beautiful sound that transcends temporal, geographic and cultural boundaries. They blend their Balkan roots with influences from jazz, classical music, art rock and traditional sounds. Despite their strong individuality, EYOT's sound is often compared to bands such as E.S.T., Tonbruket and the Magnus Öström Quartet: virtuosity, atmosphere and emotion meet in perfect balance.
