Beneath the branches of a tree in many colors, time suspends its flight. In this cocoon of softness, the senses awaken step by step. Thanks to a setup that allows games of hide-and-seek and surprise appearances, a multitude of visitors invite themselves to daydreaming: squirrels, rabbits, a doe… After the performance, children are invited to lie down under the tree for a time of musical listening and reading books related to the themes of the show. For ages 3 months and up. 25 minutes of performance + 25 minutes of quiet time around the tree.

Combining humor and open-air opera, this adaptation is a festive, communal, and political experience! Carmen is a work of intimacy, almost everyday in feel, and Andalusia here comes down to three scenes: a square, the tavern, and the bullring.

So, what could possibly happen to them? After a cycle on Love(s), whose past seasons we were able to host, Hen - genderless cabaret or Cabaret Love, Johanny Bert begins a new cycle on power and entertainment with still impertinent puppets. This new creation, which we are delighted to support as a co-production, promises a grating farce capable of scratching several of our certainties.
