Guild Hall is a prominent cultural institution located in the East End, serving as a museum, performing arts, and education center since its founding in 1931. The organization's mission is to be the cultural heart of the area, inviting the public to explore the vast potential of the arts, to stimulate creativity and dialogue, and to provide enjoyment for its visitors. As a hub for artistic expression and cultural engagement, Guild Hall presents over 200 programs annually, attracting around 60,000 visitors each year. The Museum at Guild Hall curates eight to ten exhibitions annually, showcasing a range of works from historical pieces to contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on artists who have a connection to the Hamptons. The Theater at Guild Hall is a dynamic venue that produces more than 100 programs each year. These include a variety of plays, concerts, dance performances, film screenings, simulcasts, and literary readings, featuring both classic works and new productions. The theater's diverse programming reflects Guild Hall's commitment to offering a broad spectrum of cultural experiences. In addition to its exhibitions and performances, Guild Hall is dedicated to nurturing future talent through its Learning & Public Engagement programs. These initiatives include both in-school programs and on-site educational opportunities, ensuring that the next generation of artists and art enthusiasts have access to quality arts education. Guild Hall is a proud member of the Hamptons Arts Network and operates as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions to Guild Hall are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations, supporting the institution's ongoing efforts to enhance the cultural landscape of the East End. The organization also features the Academy of the Arts, which honors individuals for their achievements and contributions to the arts. Members of the Academy include a distinguished group of artists, while the Lifetime Achievement Honorees represent the pinnacle of success in their respective artistic disciplines. Guild Hall's governance and operations are overseen by a Board of Trustees, supported by a dedicated staff and volunteers. The institution offers job opportunities, rental information, and volunteer positions for those wishing to become more involved. As part of its commitment to future growth and improvement, Guild Hall has embarked on a Capital Improvements Project, which includes the TAKE A SEAT initiative, providing theater seat-naming opportunities for donors.
