The Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival of Miami is a prestigious event that celebrates the legacy of Josef Gingold, a figure renowned for his dedication to music and humanity. Participants have the chance to learn from some of the world's leading pedagogues and touring artists. The program is comprehensive, offering private lessons, studio classes, master classes, and student/faculty conversations that delve into various aspects of performance and the intricacies of the music industry. One of the festival's highlights is the Gingold Virtuosi concerts, which feature a unique ensemble of faculty artists who prepare and perform alongside the festival's young artist participants. These concerts showcase a diverse range of chamber ensemble performances, including piano trios, string quartets, and quintets, and are held at acoustically renowned venues. The festival has also introduced a new initiative, the Composers Institute, focusing on composition for chamber music ensembles, further expanding its educational scope. The Artistic and Music Director of the festival is Andrés Cárdenes, a distinguished musician in his own right. Alongside him, the core faculty comprises notable figures such as Gary Levinson, Michael Klotz, Yuriy Bekker, Anne Martindale Williams, Andrés Diaz, Wendy Chen, and Orlando Jacinto Garcia.
