An evening of dazzling jazz, featuring warm interpretations of standards and classic pop songs. 

Long Island native Jane Monheit returns Home for the Holidays, and she's got all the ingredients for festive delight. The evening will include selections from her album, The Merriest (2022), featuring holiday classics made better by the sweet, luscious swing of jazz music and punctuated by Monheit's enrapturing vocal performance.

Equal parts artistic excellence and catalyst for change, Ballet Hispánico is known for stunning dancers, daring routines by Latinx choreographers, and a fusion of Latin dance with classical and contemporary techniques, creating a new style of concert dance where theatricality and passion are at the core.

This farewell concert will be held on Staller Center's Main Stage. It will celebrate the Quartet's almost 25-year-long history as Artists in Residence here at Stony Brook. Following the performance, a celebratory reception for all attendees will be held in the Main Lobby.

Tara and Alexander are a husband and wife duo that combines virtuosic classical playing with a traditional Irish flare. Tara, a Celtic violinist, and vocalist hailing from Antrim, Ireland, and Alexander, a concert pianist and San Francisco native, will showcase music from both sides of the Atlantic. Prepare to be taken on a musical journey through Irish tunes, classical gems, their own compositions, and covers of beloved film favorites.
