The Master Chorale of South Florida, founded in 2003, is a premier auditioned ensemble drawing singers from Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties. Under the artistic direction of Brett Karlin, the Chorale performs a diverse repertoire ranging from classical works by Beethoven, Bach, and Mozart to contemporary pieces and lighter fare such as Broadway hits and movie music. Since its inaugural performance of Mozart's Requiem, the Chorale has captivated audiences with renditions of Handel’s Messiah, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, and Verdi’s Requiem, among others. The ensemble frequently collaborates with notable orchestras and artists, including the Cleveland Orchestra, New World Symphony, Andrea Bocelli, and Itzhak Perlman. Committed to enriching South Florida's cultural landscape, the Master Chorale supports local soloists, orchestras, and nonprofit organizations through its performances and community engagement initiatives.
