Each year, Gualala Arts brings a talented musician from the Klein Competition to Gualala AArts for a chamber music concert. The history of these young, amazing musicians performing at Gualala Arts so early in their career is replete with many wonderful new faces of classical music coming to the Medndonoma Coast. Ms. Després, accompanied by Miles Grabor on piano, will take the stage at Coleman Hall on Sunday, April  10, 2022. For four decades, the ALEXANDER STRING QUARTET has performed in the major music capitals of five continents, securing its standing among the world’s premiere ensembles. Widely admired for its interpretations of Beethoven, Mozart, and Shostakovich, the quartet’s recordings of the Beethoven cycle (twice), and the Bartók and Shostakovich cycles have all won international critical acclaim.
