Since 2014, the Classic Academy of the OPRL (Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège) has provided an opportunity for four students from the four higher music schools of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation to perform, often for the first time, with a full orchestra. Winning the Audience Award of the Classic Academy also guarantees being invited to a "Musique à Midi" concert, featuring a chamber music program. This year, the euphonium player Philippe Schiltz (from the Royal Conservatory of Liège) has received this honor, presenting an eclectic program as the leader of the Tessera Tuba Quartet.
