Greensky Bluegrass

Greensky Bluegrass is not a performance venue or ensemble organization in the traditional sense, but it is in fact an American bluegrass band based out of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Formed in 2000, the band has gained a substantial following within the bluegrass and jam band scenes. Their music is characterized by its unique blend of traditional bluegrass with elements of rock and improvisation, leading to dynamic and engaging live performances. The band consists of members Dave Bruzza, Michael Arlen Bont, Paul Hoffman, Mike Devol, and Anders Beck. Known for their energetic concerts, they have performed at notable venues and festivals across the United States, like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Bonnaroo Music Festival. Greensky Bluegrass has also been noted for their chart-topping albums in the bluegrass category, continuing to evolve and contribute to the modern bluegrass scene.
