Over the course of six decades, Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán has risen to the top of the mariachi world, frequently performing for the most prestigious events and with the greatest singers and symphony orchestras. The group was originally founded in Guadalajara in 1965 by brothers José “Pepe” Martínez (1941-2016) and Fernando Martínez (1946-1998). Today’s fifteen-member ensemble is made up of highly accomplished musicians and vocalists who perform traditional rancheras, sones, huapangos, boleros and classically influenced favorites that represent the Martínez family tradition. Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán performs under the musical direction of Fernando Martínez, who is joined on stage by his brothers Ángel and Alex, and son Luis Fernando. Fernando, Ángel and Alex and brothers to Carlos Martínez, musical director of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. All are part of the Martínez legacy that spans nearly 60 years.

Peter Michael Escovedo is an American percussionist. With his two brothers, he formed Escovedo Bros Latin Jazz Sextet, before Carlos Santana hired Pete and Coke Escovedo for his group. He led the 14–24 piece Latin big band Azteca

Escovedo began his recording career as a vocalist with Mongo Santamaria in 1960, and gained renown as a percussionist with Santana in the late '60s, playing with the guitarist off and on until 1980.

Banda los Recoditos are a Regional Mexican band from Sinaloa. Their basic sound is rooted in tradition, adorned with high-register horns, tuba, and rich harmony vocals. They scored their first international hit in 2010 with "Ando Bien Pedo" after two decades of intermittent activity and limited success. Since that time, their singles and albums have consistently appeared inside the Top 20 on most Latin charts. 2016's long-player Me Está Gustando topped the Regional Mexican charts, as did 2017's Los Gustos Que Me Doy. The video singles from 2019's Perfecta including its title track and "No le Hago Falta" garnered more than 200 million views each. In 2020, they issued 30 Aniversario, comprised of 30 tracks recorded across their career. They followed with Vivir la Vida in 2021 and the EP Me Siento a Todo Dar in 2022.
