Thursday are a band from New Brunswick, New Jersey. Formed in 1998 and with world-wide album sales in the millions, the band has released six criZcally acclaimed albums. Their September 2003 Island Def Jam record 'War All The Time’ is considered one of the pivotal and most influenZal post-hardcore albums of the aughts. The story of the record and the major label feeding frenzy of the period that saw Thursday, Green Day, At The Drive In, Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance all gedng signed was documented in Dan Ozzi’s New York Times best-selling book ‘Sellout’ of which a picture of Thursday graced the front cover.
