Hamilton Academy of the Arts

Hamilton Academy of the Arts offers Dance Instruction in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, and Sacred Dance. Hamilton Academy also offers classes in Piano, voice, karate, cheer and tumbling. Hamilton Academy Performance Company has received first place awards at both the state and national levels of talent competitions. The Academy Co. members were awarded highest score, best choreography and many other awards. Company members were selected by Disney Entertainment to present a 25 minute production showing Louisiana’s Culture. Students presents works at Dance for the Planet in Dallas, Texas. Hamilton Academy Co. has performed and traveled to Washington, DC, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Atlanta, Denver, Ohio, Houston, Dallas, and many other communities throughout the United States. HAA Performance Company has opened up in Concert with Ailey II where they presented a work to stop youth violence in America.
